WHY CANVAS

VoC done differently.

Another VoC platform?! We know. But hear us out...

We’ve kissed a lot of frogs.

There’s no shortage of Voice of the Customer (VoC) platforms. We’ve used plenty of them ourselves and, while they all have their strengths, we kept running into the same frustrations. Too complicated, too expensive, too rigid, too much stuff that looked great on a feature list but didn’t make running a VoC programme any easier.

Then along came AI, bringing a whole new generation of shiny new tools promising to change everything. Some of them are really clever. But clever technology alone doesn’t mean you know how to run a brilliant VoC programme.

We wanted the best of both worlds: all the power of a modern VoC platform, built around years of real CX experience. So we stopped waiting for our prince to come along and built Canvas.

Powerfully simple.

We’ve run VoC programmes for years, so we know what teams actually use, what genuinely makes their lives easier and what tends to gather dust. That makes us pretty ruthless about what makes it into Canvas. More features don’t automatically make better software, especially if nobody uses half of them.

But don’t confuse simple with basic. There’s plenty of clever stuff going on inside Canvas. We’ve just done the hard work behind the scenes so you don’t have to.

That’s the powerfully bit in powerfully simple.

Fairly priced.

Pay per response, pay per user, pay per data feed, pay to integrate, pay a bit more because you had the audacity to grow your programme. VoC pricing has got a bit silly.

We prefer to keep things simple. Tell us what you need and we’ll give you a fair price for it, with room to grow and no extra charges for implementing Canvas or integrating it with your existing tech.

And when we say fair, we don’t mean cheap. We mean a price that makes sense, is easy to manage and delivers enough value that you’re happy to keep paying it.

Radical, we know.

Canvas doesn’t need to be the centre of attention. It’s built to fit around the technology you already use, not demand that everything else revolves around it.

Our open API means we can connect with the systems and data you already use, and you can speak directly to our tech team to get everything working.

We’re not precious about where your data ends up either. Use our dashboards, push everything into Power BI or send it somewhere else entirely. It’s your data, you own it and we never use it to train our AI models.

No diva behaviour here.

Less baggage, more progress.

Canvas is a modern platform without decades of legacy technology holding it back. AI has been part of our thinking from the start, rather than something we’ve had to bolt on afterwards.

That means we can move quickly, keep developing and make use of new technology where it genuinely makes VoC better.

We don’t chase shiny things for the sake of it. If it makes life easier for CX teams, we’re interested. If it doesn’t, we’re not.

So, where do we fit?

There’s traditional VoC, there’s the new AI crowd, and then there’s Canvas. We’ve taken the bits that matter from both, without bringing all the baggage with us.

The established players

Traditional VoC

Deep VoC capability Built to support large and established customer programmes.
Broad feature sets Lots of functionality, whether you need all of it or not.
Legacy complexity Years of technology and infrastructure can bring extra baggage.
Complex pricing Users, responses, feeds and integrations can all add to the bill.
AI often added later New capability can sit on top of older technology.
Our take
The best of both worlds

Canvas

Built by VoC people Designed by people who’ve actually run customer experience programmes.
Powerfully simple Sophisticated where it needs to be, without unnecessary complexity.
Fairly priced Clear, manageable pricing without charging for every little thing.
Flexible by design Open API, direct access to our tech team and no need to rebuild your stack around us.
Built for what’s next Modern technology, with AI considered from the start rather than bolted on later.
The new crowd

AI-first tools

Modern technology Built around the latest generation of AI.
Fast-moving Newer platforms can develop and adapt quickly.
Strong on analysis Often very good at summarising and making sense of large volumes of feedback.
Narrower VoC focus Analysis is only one part of running a successful VoC programme.
Experience varies Clever technology doesn’t always come with years of hands-on VoC experience.
