Mark's international experience stretches for 15 years. His aim for Watermelon was to create an
agency of practitioners that could be placed into an organisation to advise, implement and deliver
Mark takes a hands-on approach, being involved in all of our key accounts and continues to develop Watermelon’s capabilities. He oversees each programme from a strategic viewpoint, ensuring the programme evolves over time within the changing business landscape.
Mark began his career in 2007 at Facts International, Watermelon’s sister agency, before he was hand-picked
to help setup Watermelon. At Watermelon, Mark is heavily involved in large-scale VoC
studies for a number of financial sector clients, from set-up to the delivery of data and reporting via
Mark’s experience allows him to play an integral part in the design, implementation and execution of these programmes.
Phil heads up all our International studies. Before joining Watermelon, Phil spent 8 years in strategic
operations, most recently spending 4 years as Head of Operations for TNS New Zealand. Phil
returned to the UK in 2012 with TNS running the UK Online Omnibus team.
Phil’s experience lies in delivering large scale multi-mode studies, developing online panels and creating unique online research techniques.
Sian has more than fifteen years’ research experience, specialising in the design and delivery of
action based insight. An expert research practitioner, Sian leads complex research programmes
across the consumer and business-to-business sectors.
Sian’s experience covers a range of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies including online and multivariate statistical techniques. At Watermelon Sian delivers insight and engagement at every stage of our research programmes.
Chief Technology Officer
Richard began a career in market research with Nunwood in 2002, gaining extensive experience of
managing large scale market research campaigns, from customer satisfaction to brand tracking
campaigns, across public and private sectors. Richard has recently returned to London after
spending eighteen months in our Australia office.
Richard is responsible for the development and maintenance of Watermelon’s technical offerings not only ensuring his team are delivering operational excellence, but also innovating and ensuring Watermelon stays ahead of the curve.
